Since then she only needed a couple of years to grow to one of the artists defining Brussels’s electronic underground scene. She is starting 2022 with a bang, releasing her new single Fille De Recaille to celebrate her debut album Close To Home which will come out in March this year, both on Optimo Music. The Irish duo Lakker have a way of showing us how the sound and the spirit of techno has developed beyond just the obvious four-to-the-floor beat. The 22nd FIBER podcast is a good example of fluidity due to the overlapping of form and style in sound as well as in visual design. “Techno for us is more a sound, intensity and feeling rather than a specific pattern. We also wanted to mix this with some of our more UK influences, like some of the interesting rhythms that Funky and Dubstep have produced.”

After his first vinyl release in 2018, Piska Power, alias Stefan Junge was associated with a  Downtempo and Wave/New Beat influenced music style. 2021 voam records released his first techno vinyl release. 2022 he kept up the Bpm on his EP on Omnidisc including two remixes by Danny Daze. So it was is no surprise his second Mutant Radio show by would be faster one being recorded around 150 BPM playing his unreleased techno tracks and mixing them with breakbeats and trance synth driven songs. Hope to see you on a dancefloor soon to stay united and strong within our community of electronic music
