Raising from the Swiss underground party and squating scene, Jolly has been involved over 10 years in different musical and cultural-political contexts. As a part of the music and publishing collective Kashev Tapes the values that move Jolly's approach stay distant from conventional and commercial standards. With an understanding of musical references and styles in techno music, the release on Black Mojito shows an example of his eclectic craft. His last year was busy with releasing his debut EP on Kashev Tapes, as well with tracks released on Deestricted, Terenor Records and on the Institut für Zukunft imprint. leftist dance music culture and collaborational artistic exchange remain as important part of his practice, as well as political radical ideas and that's the reason why he's now on Black Mojito.

This album had a theme that I connect to in a personal, casual level.
Every day I like to start my day with a specific kind of music, to kick my day in a good, energetic, and uplifting way.
So, I decided to make an EP that will mirror my way of starting the day.
I recommend to start the day with the beginning of the EP, and let it flow without shuffle, as all the tracks pass seamlessly, with a theme melody that runs through all the tracks.
The EP starts from a chilly and vibe intro with "Eye Boogers", to a kicking start with "snooze" to a groovy track specially for a workout with "Morning Workout", to a rocking high vibes to send you to a better day with the best post workout meal, "Cereal".
