Silent Witness - Dispatch Recordings Label Mix - February 2014

Tally G (San Diego), behind the decks off and on for the past two decades, is known for her diversity as a (mostly) drum and bass DJ, seamlessly blending jungle, footwork, juke, and neurofunk, among other subgenres, most notably deep, dark, techy minimal DnB. Every set is a journey, told through a combination of long, thoughtful transitions, skillfully quick mixing, and energetic double drops guaranteed to get bodies moving and gun fingers popping. She is one half of Hologynic and one half of Tex n Bass. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings (USDNB), Siren Project (NYC), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopation (AZ), and THC Kru (USDNB). Tally G is also on the board of directors for Siren Project, an all female identifying collective dedicated to providing safe spaces for trans-, non-binary, and cis-women performers who raise funds for various nonprofit organizations. She has played around the United States and is currently learning music production.

Fiction - Rollerz (Commercial Suicide special) 3-5-2010

Hey crew, I've finally started diggin' through one of my old hard drives so I can upload some of my older / unreleased mixes.

This one is a live recording from a club night called Funkshop that myself and Patch ran around 2005 - 2007 or so in Adelaide. The club was called Tonic and this was our monthly dnb night, which quickly achieved the name of "Drunkshop" haha! 

This is a set I played from 230am till close, with G-Swift on the mic beside me all the way, it was a huge night indeed! Big love to all the crew who were on the dancefloor back then, they were some golden times for the scene in Adelaide!

There may be a couple of skips in the recording, I've fixed 'em the best I can. Full tracklist coming, please comment if you know any of the tunes. Cheers all and I hope you enjoy the set!

His highly anticipated debut album is forthcoming soon on Utopia Music. In the meantime, his latest offering is out now, ‘Not Too Late / Trick’ on DLR’s Sofa Sound label, a hefty collaboration that can also be found in this exclusive mix.. Every element of the mix is masterfully crafted, with each song playing a vital piece in building upon the atmosphere and groove of the previous, as well as being packed full of his own productions and exclusives.
