Identikit - Vast Open Spaces feat. Fidel De Jesus

New song idea that I wrote last night. Trying to fuse latin grooves (or kinda like it), djent and neoclassical. All leads are improvised though, still needs a lot of work.

Found this old recording that I did way back in 2008. I have no idea about mixing, recording gear and the likes. All I know back then is connecting my distortion pedal to the line in or mic input of the pc and voila! Record all the way! 

This track is heavily influenced or should I say a ripoff of a Young Guitar performance.

Infernal Tormentor

Trying out again the live recording capabilities of my rig. This time, two guitars are recording at the same time. We did 5 full takes and one 1/2 of the song take then selected the best tracks and compiled them to what you're hearing now. As for the mixing, I did my best to get as close to the vibe of the original track. Hope you enjoy!

Scarified (Racer X cover feat. Karlo Ancheta)

So... I found this three year old track while I was cleaning up my recordings folder. This is an old guest solo that I did back in 2013, back during the djent fauna was flourishing! Just a quick history of this, I was asked to play leads and fills over this track but unfortunately, it didn't passed the pre-prod stage. The first half was improvised while the second half was written down. Tried to copy Allan Holdsworth's tone here and Shawn Lane's playng style. Anyhow, hope you enjoy! smile emoticon

Hi guys, I've been tripping on Backstreet Boys songs lately. I've always been a fan of them since I was a teeny weeny kid so here's my cover of "Shape Of My Heart" from their Black and Blue album (2000) :)




*used a the Wampler Triple Wreck here, both modern and vintage mods then reamped with Guitar Rig 4 (ultrasonic head + vintage 4x12 / american 2x12 cabs)

Super Mario Brothers Theme Cover

Beatles cover song. Jeff Healy, Carlos Santana, Prince and Vinnie Moore (I got a lot of ideas from his version) covered this beautiful song too. 

I used my Schecter Blackjack ATX 8 for the guitars and bass tracks. I've tuned it to drop E so I can easily play the bass tracks.

Lastly, the track is still raw because I'm still lazy too mix it.
