Fidjit – The Story so Far

Fidjit first found his love for music back in the days of Hardcore and Jungle. Buying tape packs and getting flyers to stick on his school books soon turned into a desire to get more into the music scene. With dreams of emulating industry heroes such as Andy C, Fabio & Grooverider driving him on, Fidjit purchased his first set of turntables, a mixer and started to collect a wide variety of DnB vinyl. After a few years of practising the Old Skool way in his bedroom & dropping huge floor fillers at friend’s parties, Fidjit felt the urge to share his passion to a wider audience. He got in contact with local promoters in Essex who immediately saw the desire within him. He got his first set at a local wine bar, a set which would only cement in Fidjit`s mind the need to turn his dreams into a reality. Seeing a crowd of people jumping around at his control was like a drug. And like most DJ’s he was hooked.
At around the same time, a brand new record shop, Intense Records, opened in his home town. The timing was perfect. He became close friends with the owner, Shuffle, eventually becoming part of the Intense Records staff. This opened a number of roads for Fidjit and allowed him to take his love for all things DnB to the next level and, of course, getting all the latest promos was a real perk. 
A regular on the Chelmsford DnB scene, Fidjit has warmed up and played alongside some huge names like Mickey Finn, Ratpack, Darren Jay, Aphrodite, Chase & Status, Mind Vortex, Hamilton, Dj Krust and has even performed straight after the worlds number 1 DnB DJ MR Andy C!!

He has the experience to play to all types of crowds -young or old, to big crowds or small intimate parties. With an uncanny knack of selecting the right tune at the right time, he always gets the desired effect of people totally going for it and enjoying themselves.
