Valencia M comes to join Port 81's team. This great producer from Pereira shares with us 3 tracks filled with deep sentimentally-charged vibes. A profound representation of mental states experienced throughout the depression.

The first track ‘‘Scalade'', —the calm before the storm—, is all about overcoming hard times. A playful percussion and an intense harmony are the perfect starters for this extended format.

‘‘In my own tears'' expresses rage, an aggressive attitude towards adversity. It displays solid synth work with driving percussion from start to end.

Finally, ‘‘A song for hard times'' concludes the EP with melancholic melodies; the musical journey is portrayed as some kind of mental storm. A piano infused with sadness and a broken beat with haunting synths gives the ultimate touch to
the EP.

Improvised using a Boss RC-3 Loop Station and a Full Tone Full-Drive 2 pedal on a refurbished Epiphone Les Paul 100 Model through a Marshall MG10CD Practice amp and played with an amethyst gemstone pick.

Mixed and modulated in Ableton Live 10 Lite. Mastered on SoundCloud.
