In this debut effort, Local Housing Crisis diverts our attention away from this divine & idyllic habitat toward a persisting & unwelcome yet unavoidable intrusion. A modern clash of society & environment - where disproportionate means removes space from those most deserving; placing invaluable assets into the hands of outsiders seeking to make off with anything available for self-interested exploit.

beyond the usual field of vision. 

The first installment of our "Various Artist" mixtape series stitches together ambient, lo-fi house secrets born for a life on cassette; with higher fidelity, funk-driven, sample productions - dance floor ready. With an intention to showcase artists of little exposure - each offering throughout the release purposely contributes to the balance, every one with their own unique statement of arrival for our inaugural release.
