GAB wants to say a huge thank you to all the lovely people supporting the label since we kicked things off in August last year. Starting a new project over lockdown may have been slightly rogue but the support we’ve received on social media has been a massive driving force for ur boys Van Roy and Saucebag. 

Having received some unreal original demos over the last few months we decided the best way to say thank you to our followers was through a various artists, free download EP, ‘From GAB With Love Vol. 1.'

@gibbinuk , @leonfortgang , @shaunastapleton and @donsurf  have brought the heat on this release with a range of UK underground sounds including laidback broken beat steppers, rave-ready industrial heaters and of course some outrageously large breakbeats.

Bad Tips continues its streak of innovation with RAVL's "Archives EP". Oscillating between Lyon and Marseille, RAVL showcases a break and melancholic universe that skillfully blends analog warmth, icy percussions, and a meticulous sound design.

The EP opens with the dreamlike techno-break journey of "Archives" seamlessly transitioning between bittersweet melancholy and convulsive rhythms. "Doomsday Clockmakers" takes the listener deeper into emotional terrain, punctuated by a nihilistic voice and a nebula of beastly percussion.

Remixes by Hyas, Lisa More, and Pura Pura offer diverse perspectives, each adding a unique layer to the sonic tapestry. Hyas crafts a precision-focused blend of UK influences, while Lisa More's remix evokes a cyborg's melancholic memory. Pura Pura's reinterpretation injects a club-oriented energy, seamlessly intertwining rap, club, and bass influences.

Everything Merged Vol 1

‘Everything Merged’ is 3024’s second series of compilations featuring artists from the 3024 Mentoring Program. At the beginning of the pandemic, label owner Martyn started forming a lively online community of artists, providing them with ideas and inspiration. This community grew larger and larger, and musicians started to connect both online and offline, across continents and genres. It resulted in the “It Was Always There” series of compilations from 2021, and countless independent releases, radio appearances and gigs, putting a host of artists on the map.

Working on the program made Martyn and partner Jeroen Erosie reconsider the purpose of running a record label in 2022. ‘Are we still interested in putting out records via the usual channels?’ Or should a label become more of an umbrella for various activities by a larger community, both online and IRL, with digital and physical products, in other words merge everything into one.

“Everything Merged vol. 1” features the awesome music of a group of 3024 alumni from across the globe, interpreting the post-pandemic phase of electronic music each in their individual ways. There are the contemporary percussive meditations of Adam 2, Solair, Klont and Brooklynite No Sir, the 90s garage and rave inspired music of Karis, Agôn, Slovenia’s Hatterri and Noise Casino from Colombia. The exuberant technicolorist bangers of Guava, Blu-e and Cress and the deep hypnotic explorations of India’s Chhabb, MarceauxMarceaux and The Exhausted.
