Field Of Dreams Recordings' 2nd vinyl release sees us sign our favourite Turkish producer of fine electronic house music. 
First up is KaaN's original mix which highlights everything he's about, authentic Eastern beats with an electronic twist. For the remix we've kept the feel and added some acid to take it to a darker room. 
Finally, we have included our remix of Adab I Raki which came out on eclectics last year. This is on the vinyl release only. If you want to buy it digitally it is available here https://eclectics.bandcamp.com/track/kaan-adab-rak-field-of-dreams-remix

When we remixed this in 2017, it became instantly huge with Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston at their ALFOS parties. It's taken years to eventually get it on to vinyl but it is happening, at last. As we were doing an EP with some unreleased old stuff, we thought we may as well get one of our favourite FoD tunes on the vinyl as well. Everyone seems to love this one, as we do, so we gave it a bit of a spring clean. Not too much, just enough to freshen it a little. We love it.

Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down. October Selection by Al Mackenzie

I was asked to put together some of my favourite old house tunes so I did! I am aware there are probably loads that everyone thinks should be there but these are my choices, what I was playing back then (late '80s). I will admit, the mixing in parts is, shall we say, functional but it does the job, just about!! I think I've got into my comfort zone these days with the music around now. Just treat it as a party mix and have a dance and a reminisce, if you can remember that far back!

Whilst clearing out an old hard drive, I found files full of old tunes from 2009-2013. Having gone through them all I thought it would be a waste not to get some of these out there, so i did a mix. As per, I have slowed most of them down a bit as I don't do 125bpm. Sounds pretty damned good to me. Dive in

Field Of Dreams are Chris Kentish (Field Theory) and Al Mackenzie who met up, had a couple of drinks and decided to work on some stuff together. This is the result. We hope you like it. KM Editions did and the EP came out on 
vinyl on 21st May 2018 on Pleasure Unit. Our next EP, 'Nothing Is Perfect', including remixes by Andrew Weatherall and Mind Fair was out in on July  and promptly sold out on our Bandcamp site. A new EP is out now on digital. Also look out for KaaN remixes due on vinyl early July and our remix of Les Crocodiles' 'La Nuit Des Tropiques' also out soon on vinyl.
