This One's For You

I had a 6 pack in the car. ten shots at the bar. didnt get very far
when i was asked to leave then i. saw her standing there. gothic
with long black hair. she had her clit pierced, she showed me
in the carpark. lets drink and fuck and fight then fuck again and
sleep all night. lets get stoned as fuck all day who needs
direction anyway? then she asked me about h. asked if i’d like
to freebase. i said i dont do that shit she laughed an said you’ll
be fine as i. was blinded by lust. felt the pressure building up.
so i had a hit that made me feel like shit. then i started to like it.
my life if out of control. it will get you in the end i caught my
killer in my grave i have become a fucking slave putting that dirty
shit in my veins. it will get you and it did i cant believe that things
could end up like this. my life is out of control.

01. 6 Pack of Courage

when i see you walking down the street at night. wearing those
jeans a little too tight. bumming ciggys cause your thinking that its
cool. Who you wanna be cause i cant see you. i dont wanna be
anybody but you. i dont wanna be around. i dont wanna
be the clown. tough talk cause your walk aint matching.
superior main attraction. keep bringing it oh so typical. this
message aint so subliminal.

02. Anybody but You

your defiance wont be hiding the ignorant oversized elephant
in the room. picking at my conscience. a droning siren breaks
as people swear their innocence. lead to the field and shot
between the eyes. you wont disguise this violation. you can
dig your own grave lay to rest. our freedom, our trust, our
dignity. send our hopes to the gallows. so were here to witness
the rise and the fall. as dreams are sinking deep a resurrection
seems so hopeless. if only this so called “god” would ever
take some notice. wont you bring us peace instead of death?
what a fucking waste of breath. send a concept we’ll believe
instead of violation. kill the innocent, burn the weak, leave the
world in flames. if theres a higher power. Why are we ignored?
lets all watch it fall.

03. Rise and Fall

excuse us little people. we didnt mean to get Under your feet. this path
on which we meet. for all we mean to do is slave away. in hope someday
we can end up just like you. forgive us all we didnt know you could
walk on water. forgive us all we didnt know you could part the sea.
and everything you touch it turns to gold. and ears around hang off your
every word. excuse us little people. for all our lives we try. but were
just too low we wont see eye to eye. get off your fucking high horse
you make me sick. hypocrite.

04. Hypocrite

can you fit your ego through the door? presenting these signals so
appreciation is called for. heads so big that its dragging on the floor.
if you want more scream. no inside information. or any hesitation.
application for resignation. leave you on your own. you wont ever makes
this fortress. lost our complacence, we’ll replace it heading on.
you wont ever make this. and this time, not this time, whens this time?
cause we want the truth.

05. The Truth

the ‘replacement’ it makes a world of sense. a distraction from
reality. fucking reality. and then some... can you see the signs
staring ar your face? every siingle breath is one you’ve wasted.
back and crawl into your hole. THis is your life it’s so pathetic.
it’s all gone without a trace. lost inside this fucking maze full of
deceit a war of words. Now we’re being heard. do we have to spell
it out for you? Now you see the signs, but your time’s a waste.
you’re still at home, fucking disgraced. slip through the cracks,
without a trace, now the gutter is your home, can you hear these
words? do we have to spell it out for you? redemption, no we’re
being heard.

06. Redemption

CD quality upload of the boys original self-titled EP.

I still remember meeting these boys in 2008 on tour at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney.  We we're all feeling really good, having a great time hanging out smoking in the back of Ski's van and just generally running a muck.  At the time I didn't realise these guys were actually from the Brisbane area and reluctantly gave away the band shirt I was wearing to Nugget who (like me) was just a good friend of the band and came along for the ride, full of appreciation Brownie came up to me with literally hands full of copies of this EP and gave them ALL to me hahaha you sorta had to be there but it's a fun memory.  Great times!

This EP was recorded in 2007, somewhere on the Gold Coast I believe.
