"Doorman in Formant" is the second 12” from 19-year old Cambridge, UK-based artist Metrist and his first on Fifth Wall Records. Returning to Fifth Wall after prior remix work for Myler and support from the likes of Ancient Methods and Shifted, Metrist delivers a bundle of four originals, accompanied by a remix from Trilogy Tapes and Killekill artist Eomac.

Marrying oddball techno, suspended film score chords, reptilian synthwork, and a touch of industrial, the EP sits in an idiosyncratic, sui generis place among its contemporaries. We think you’ll like it.
