Black Screen is a minimalistic song based on a Lo Fi piano based groove carried by a chill beat and bassline that runs through your entire body. The whispering lyrics of Benji describe an addiction to screens, finding escapism in TV, phones, and media. The message is that people nowadays rather stare at a screen rather than facing reality, and have to find love in an online form (chats, porn, dating apps,...) which doesn’t seem real but provides consolation in these trying times.
