Temptations Vol.3 consists of 10 original samples inspired by 70's Deep Soul, Psych and Jazz Fusion. Each sample has multiple parts, sections, background and lead vocal phrases, arranged in a way that makes it easy for any producer to pick and choose parts that grab their attention.

Recorded and processed with some of the most rare and sought after vintage gear - using mic preamps such as Electrodyne, Quad Eight, V72, and mics like the KM86, Bx44, Electrovoice and Reslo. EMT 140 plate reverb, natural room and chamber reverbs, Ampex 440B Tape Machine, live vocals, guitars, horns, flutes, pianos and a ton more of equipment to give you that authentic texture and sound of that early 70s era. Since 2005, Figga 4 has been very quiet. The group was formed in 1997 through a chance encounter at Charlotte's Power 98 radio station. However, the group hasn't made music their primary focus. Interestingly enough, it seems they have all worked to build their personal and professional foundations while using music as a creative outlet. While this may sound shocking to some, this route has assisted Figga 4 in solidifying their personal bonds. 

Creative Loafing has compared the group to the old school Ultramagnetic MCs and the group has remained shrouded in mystery with limited imagery and video throughout the internet. The individual members have maintained their stage names, BKNC, Mastamind, Shif-T and Supreme. 

Many times, we see these types of groups split up after a couple of years, but their formula has seen them work together for a solid 15 years. It's worked to keep them a tight knit group, while they evolve musically and personally. Their growth is evident in their newest street single, "Chaos and Mayhem," which examines the duality between chaos and mayhem politically. With this being the case, Figga 4 does not claim to be a political or positive group. However, they do promise to express the artform, their talents and their brand while having a lot of fun.

I  was born in Concord, on July 4,1980 but I grew up in Kannapolis , N.C.              

As a young man I started writing lyrics and recording in 1993 with Tobias Rose aka Mastamind , forming the duo group called P.O.W ( Prisoners of War ).

After numerous freestyle battles , performances, and live appearances at Power 98 wpeg fm, we linked up wit another duo group called the Natives. Their members included Sleepy aka Supreme and Bknc aka Freddy Ray. These four forces combined to form the imfamous "Figga 4".
