Hey!!! It’s finally here!
Super proud to present you guys “Latigo EP”

Started working on this project back in 2022 when the first idea for ‘Latigo’ was made, all started with the crazy idea to experiment with some jungle terror, started by doing the drums, some topical jungle drums, but out of nowhere I dropped some baile funk snares layered with some classic dembow snares and I all stared to makes sense! 

After couple hours trying to figure out this shit I found the ‘Latigo’ vocal sample, rest is history!

Latigo is one of my favorite works to date, and being able to give it a final touch after all this years Is something special! Only god know how much I suffered with this record, from losing the original project, to have missing files, everything! 

Thats why is super especial for me to finally get to release this track, a track that was never supposed to see the light, is finally here! Thank God! 

Right after I bounced the first version for ‘latigo’ I went with my cousins on a bike trip, and when I say “Trip” it’s because I was literally a Trip!!!! We went for a ride while we was under the influence of Lsd lol, the most crazy shit hahaha (pls don’t try this at home). 

That’s how AO2W (Acid On Two wheels) was born!  As soon as I came home from that crazy tip I stated making this record, crazy bike sounds, mixed with epic choirs and crazy leads, while bringing back the trap bubbling vibes! 

Those two tracks were supposed to be the original ep, but the years passed and never came out.

Time later (this year) I started working on Hunter, a house track with heavy techno influences mixed with some baile funk vocals, made me realize that I finally had the third track for the “Latigo EP”

Shit, too much text bro stop! 

With nothing left to say! Thank you guys for the patience, some times things get mad crazy but it’s always a pleasure share my passion for music with you!

Those who know what’s going on have been asking me: “Washi, why even bother? Why pay attention? Why waste your energy on them if they’re literally nobodies?” Well, let me explain why.
First of all: ME? Afraid of YOU? Some wack producers? Like WTF, man. What have you done to even be worth considering on that level?
Second: Are you carrying the genre? 😐😐😐😐 Let me ask you again: What have you done for it? How long have you been “representing” the sound, and why do you think you’re actually doing it?
For the past 10 years, I’ve been waving the flag, staying true to the original sound while also building bridges with other genres—innovating and creating some serious bangers 🫵. ASK ANYONE (and I don’t mean your little group of friends, more on that in a sec).
While other producers jumped on whatever genre was trending, remixing pop-reggaeton songs into Afro, guess what? I stayed here, holding it down for 108. If it wasn’t through releases, it was with snippets of my songs, yeah the same ones you’ve always wanted to have 😅.
Third: Why is all the trash you’re talking being said in a group chat where we can’t see or hear it? PFFFF. DON’T BE A PUSSY, u fucking clown 🤡.
Fourth and finally: Your friends. Moombah Battle. A “show” where your friends are the ones deciding who wins? o_O? WOW, just wow. 😂 (At first, I thought it was a good idea. Then I saw where it was going, and yeah... that’s messed up.)
By the way, @mrvega1982 , you’re really out here supporting these dudes over the trash talking? SMH.
One more thing I don’t understand about your little group is how, just weeks ago, y’all were like: “Please, please, make a mix for my show,” “Washi, the collab, please please,” And you… wow, Washi fyah. 😂😂😂.
It’s starting to feel like y’all are just fans who’ve lost touch with reality.

I’m only going to say this once, because honestly, I don’t think you or your friends deserve my time or Matías’s.
