Fighting Giants is a female fronted alternative four piece group bringing an atmospheric dynamic to indie rock. Hailing from Western, MA their Freshman EP, Soundbox Sessions, is set for release May 8th, 2015. Recorded live In New Bedford, MA with Clinton Lisboa of Soundbox Recording; the six track debut takes listeners on a 23-minute journey of danceable rhythms, searing guitar leads, intimate falsettos and powerhouse vocals. 

Singer/Songwriter Michelle Herrick has fronted such successful bands as Arrows Over Athens, a perennial presence on the Vans Warped Tour stage. Her unique brand of singing has been described as, “sweet but tears at your heart” and that “her vocals consistently shine”.  Paired with three of the valleys most versatile musicians, her expressive voice bounces effortlessly through slow burn builds, an articulate rhythm section, and controlled counter melodies. 

From Simons 667 in Providence, RI to The Bayside Bowl in Portland, ME Fighting Giants spent all of 2014 tearing up New England venues honing their sound. Their immersive style of “quiet to loud” transitions are designed to capture listeners attention in full. This year alone the group has shared the stage with Equal Vision Artist Wind in Sails. With a solid freshman EP the group is set to take off in 2015.
