Executable music entry for Revision 2011, which it eventually won. About 27k including everything, most of it being the movie sample which you probably can't make out unfortunately.

This track was a tricky one to do - I had to go against a lot of my preconceptions of how or why should I make music, and ultimately a lot of the credit must go to http://soundcloud.com/dshmusic for reassuring me in the last minute that I really should just follow my instinct and go ahead with whatever I feel like adding to the tune, instead of being held back by preconceived ideas.

All in all I think this is one of my favorite tracks of what I've done.

This was done in a very short time but it was all the more fun and challenge to work on this - the brief was "slightly retro, uplifting, slowish", so I tried to make it sound like a bit of an 80s sci-fi movie endscroller track. Despite some serious micromanagement to fit the future visuals, I'm very very happy with the end result.

2015 schlägt das Berliner Independent-Label Krekpek Records dem Hamburger Koch eine Album-Produktion vor und setzt die Idee zwei Jahre später  in die Tat um. Unterdessen spielt Beamic sowohl in Radioshows, als auch live und füttert die ausverkauften Sampler „Beats am laufenden Band“ und „Made wit Luv“. Seinem Beitrag zu Krekpeks „Audio-Dope 3“ wird auf dem Youtube-Kanal von Chillhop Music große Aufmerksamkeit zuteil: Auf Anhieb erreicht er über 100.000 Klicks und schafft es auf diverse Spotify-Playlists. Am 24.11.2017 ist es folglich höchste Zeit für ein Debüt auf Langspielzeit.

1995 bringt „Bring da Ruckus“ Beamic erstmals den Ruckus. Seitdem sind die „36 Chambers“ der ungebrochene Soundtrack zum Cornern an der Train-Station, zum Checken der Train-Zeiten und zum Bomben der Trains. Für gewohnt wurden dafür die ersten Stunden in der Schule geopfert, nur um wenig später auf dem Heimweg, den frisch gewischten Zug an sich vorbei rauschen zu sehen. Doch genauso wie WickedStyleKids Crew-Kollegen AchtVier, zieht es Beamic früher oder später zur Musikproduktion. In Flensburg beginnt er eine Kochlehre und verlagert seine Beatbox-Skills auf die Drum-Machine.

Bis heute verläuft sich die Zuneigung irgendwo zwischen Kochplatten und Plattentellern. Es dreht sich alles um Handwerk und Werkzeug, um Zutaten und Mengenverhältnisse, um Komposition und Harmonie. Doch kaum sind die Samples für den nächsten musikalischen Erguss ermittelt, ruft der Händler vom Hamburger Fischmarkt mit der Bestellung für das Menu des heutigen Abends durch. Schnell abspeichern und los. Spätabends noch, kredenzt Beamic den ersten und letzten Gang des Tages in Form eines rustikalen, aber detailverliebten Instrumentals, um ihn bis zum nächsten Morgen noch gut abkühlen zu lassen. Ein Leben „Zwischen Tür und Angel“.

Die East-West Session wurde vor fünf Jahren gegründet, um eine Plattform für eigene Ideen zu schaffen und Musikern und Produzenten die Möglichkeit zum Ausprobieren und Austausch zu geben. Unzählige Künstler wagten den ersten Schritt aus ihren Bedroom Studios auf die EWS Bühne. Mittlerweile waren Künstler wie IAMDDB, SmifNWessun, Suff Daddy, Falk Schacht, Karate Andi, Plusmacher, MC Rene, Torch und viele weitere auf der EWS zu Gast. Figub Brazlevic und Benne Basquiat haben neben ihrem eigenen Label Krekpek Records parallel eine Veranstaltungsreihe entwickelt, die eine eigene Serie an Vinyls in limitierter Auflage herausbringt. Die Inhalte ergeben sich aus Bookings, der eigenen Live Band oder aus dem näheren Umfeld der EWS. Das besondere der aktuellen Ausgabe ist, dass die Vinyls nicht mehr monatlich erscheinen, sondern in einem Turnus von drei Monaten, um die Qualität weiter zu steigern und den Besuchern und Sammlern eine noch komplettere Platte anzubieten. Das alles macht die East-West Session zu einem einzigartigen Schmelztiegel, der im Wedding das schwarze Gold fördert und die monatlichen Sessions gebührend dokumentiert. "Ladies and gentlemen may we present Sidenote - The Jazz Jousters dig 1969. This is simply a little project which is in similar fashion to our earlier tribute albums from our first three seasons. However, in this case the Jazz Jousters were each challenged to get digging in the crates and work with Jazz music from the year 1969 and come up with something in their own style. With the result of sixteen tracks to come out of this challenge it's safe to say it was a worthwhile session to get the creative juices flowing."
