French label resident Matt Fax is back on Arrival after his acclaimed "Orion" EP. This EP, "Avalon", showcases two new progressive productions: "Avalon" and "Over The Edge".

The title track starts out with a lush atmosphere consisting of soothing background pad layers and arpeggio lines. Soon, a multi-layered theme riff emerges, which is beautifully accompanied by a hypnotic bassline and frisky percussion elements. After the main break, the theme riff is layered up to an even higher degree, leading the track to its zenith. The B-side, "Over The Edge", similarly begins with a mesmerizing intro, consisting of well-crafted arpeggio melodies and pad layers. The addition of intermittent vocal stabs and variations to the arpeggio leads spice up the soundscape even more. The energetic theme riff, as well as intriguing sound effects, is showcased after the main break.

Having recently appeared on parent label Silk Digital with their "Everest / Genesis" EP, the duo Barzek & Jethimself (Australia and USA) are ready to launch their first chillout EP. Silk Sofa is proud to present "Erhu", which features three brilliant downtempo pieces.

The title track starts off with calm rhodes melodies, which are soon accompanied by subtle piano lines and a frisky breakbeat. The lush and mysterious sounds of the Erhu-instrument, a Chinese two-stringed bowed instrument, emerge later, and numerous background layers support the theme melody brilliantly. The second song, "Drifting Out", which starts out with an incredibly calm and soothing atmosphere, consists of a gorgeous piano line and subtle rhodes stabs in the background. A unique guitar riff emerges later, and in the break a number of beautiful melodies are showcased. The final track, "Dewdrops", quickly establishes a smooth soundscape, once again with a lovely piano line and well-structured breakbeat. A number of pad lines sit perfectly on top of the lush bassline. The piano line is varied in the break, and the song continues with many unique sound effects and synth additions, thereby enhancing the texture.

Heya, I know that I said that CoMa would sing over this and that version will also come, but I know she is very busy and I dont want to put much pressure on her you know! And it has been already a month when I uploaded my last track, so i decided to upload the non-vocal version first  :( So here it is, my first try at Glitch Hop well.. chilled type of it.
