Get to know him.&#13;
Ross Ryan, known as StéLouse (pronounced 'stay loose'), is an experimental electronic music producer and DJ currently residing in Denver, Colorado in the United States. His experience crafting songs and touring in an original rock outfit acted as a great springboard for Ryan to jump into the art of electronic music production quite quickly and seamlessly.&#13;
Having worked under various aliases for the past few years, Ryan began uploading bootlegs and edits to Soundcloud under the name StéLouse in the Fall of 2013. Quickly seeing support from online bloggers and music fans alike, Ryan released his debut EP, Home, in March of 2014 on Celldweller's newly found label, Subterra Records. The EP garnered support from artists such as David Heartbreak, Jakwob, and Kill Paris.&#13;
StéLouse's sophomore effort, entitled "The City", is now avaliable via Perth based label, Die High Records, it features 4 original tracks laced with those future bass vibes that StéLouse is becoming best known for.&#13;

Having recently appeared on parent label Silk Digital with their "Everest / Genesis" EP, the duo Barzek & Jethimself (Australia and USA) are ready to launch their first chillout EP. Silk Sofa is proud to present "Erhu", which features three brilliant downtempo pieces.

The title track starts off with calm rhodes melodies, which are soon accompanied by subtle piano lines and a frisky breakbeat. The lush and mysterious sounds of the Erhu-instrument, a Chinese two-stringed bowed instrument, emerge later, and numerous background layers support the theme melody brilliantly. The second song, "Drifting Out", which starts out with an incredibly calm and soothing atmosphere, consists of a gorgeous piano line and subtle rhodes stabs in the background. A unique guitar riff emerges later, and in the break a number of beautiful melodies are showcased. The final track, "Dewdrops", quickly establishes a smooth soundscape, once again with a lovely piano line and well-structured breakbeat. A number of pad lines sit perfectly on top of the lush bassline. The piano line is varied in the break, and the song continues with many unique sound effects and synth additions, thereby enhancing the texture.

This is "Lost in a Dream" a piece which came out of a recording I made on my violin which I decided to turn into a looped passage. I wanted to create something with it so here it is, I hope you enjoy it :)

Lost in a Dream

I'm pleased to announce THE LIQUID AMBER EP. This single/EP serves as the opening salvo in what I hope is a long string of music, by myself and others, on my new imprint: LIQUID AMBER.  There's two new songs, "Ghost Town" and "Mob," and a nifty remix of "Six Days" by Machinedrum. 

"Ghost Town" is an ambitious ride through many of the micro-genres within the Future Bass umbrella that have inspired me recently, while "Mob" is an intentionally stripped-down, Cali-certified head-nodder.  Both songs were written, programmed, and mixed by myself, and they represent the forward steps I feel I've taken as an engineer.  The "Six Days" remix was something I asked Machinedrum to knock out as a tour weapon, and he crushed it (naturally), so I felt it deserved a proper release.

I'm excited about this music and the new imprint, and I really appreciate everyone's time and consideration.
