Chapter 2 of my artistic journey is here. With this album called "what is" we embark on an explorative journey with one clear goal: pushing the envelope.

This album builds the sonic foundation onto which I will build to bring emotions and stories from my home studio to your ears.

It's been four years since I started producing and this wouldn't have been possible.
Big thanks to my friends on the discord, my teachers, and everyone who is participating in this journey.
It gives me hope.

Following the success of Vol.1, ARTCORE returns with ADE VA 2025 – Vol.2, completing its two-part series dedicated to the Amsterdam Dance Event — the annual meeting point for electronic music lovers and industry pioneers. 

This second installment brings another powerful selection of 10 exclusive tracks from a diverse roster of cutting-edge artists, each delivering their own take on the sound of today’s underground.

For this new release we are happy to welcome Bateko to our Say What? family who brings us directly into darker, stripped-back territory, delivering a raw 4-tracker that captures the grit and immediacy of warehouse techno. Built around relentless grooves and hypnotic repetition, this record is designed for dancefloors that thrive on pressure and intensity.

The title track 'Torn' sets the tone with jagged percussion, rolling synth textures, and a relentless pulse that never lets up. It’s a cut that tears straight into the subconscious, blurring the line between control and chaos.

'Rode Beat' injects a raw funk into the EP, a rolling groove that balances stripped-down percussion with a hypnotic undercurrent. Minimal yet powerful, it’s the kind of track that creeps up on you and then refuses to let go.

'Guitar Hero' adds a left-field touch, weaving distorted guitar stabs into a pounding techno framework. It’s unconventional, gritty, and unmistakably Bateko — a track that hints at punk energy while remaining firmly rooted in techno’s raw foundations.

Closing the release with 'PT' Bateko pushes forward with a more mechanical drive — tight, looping drum work, subtle shifts in rhythm, and industrial edges that keep the tension locked tight. The EP delivers a statement of intent: uncompromising, floor-focused techno that thrives on tension, grit, and pure energy.

I built everything from scratch. No samples from the original, just a recreated melodic motive and my own sounds.
This version is made specifically for DJs, clubs, and peak-time sets.
