As you may or may not know, Collective States (formerly Mongo) are very avid sci-fi fans (so much so it drives us f#*king mad to be honest)! So it’s our great pleasure (or pain depending on which side of the fence you sit on) to attach a cheeky nod to the forthcoming Blade Runner sequel. Taking influence from the 1982 original soundtrack, this track has been pricking up the ears of some of the early recipients including John Digweed (who has featured it on his Transitions show several times recently), Sasha, Kolsch and big High Tide Recordings label supporter, James Zabiela.  

It’s been a great summer for Collective States with both their “Krypton and “Planet Mongo” releases charting highly in Beatport whilst picking up support across the spectrum of dance music from the likes of Carl Cox, Hot Since 82, Joris Voorn, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, Dubfire, Eats Everything, Sasha, John Digweed, Alan Fitzpatrick, Kaiserdisco and James Zabiela to name but a few. The latest in our free download series comes from label artist Brian Cid. The NYC based producer is coming off his third project for us entitled 'Pluto'. Released earlier this year, the four track EP featured three organic, groovy and sonically distinctive creations, along with a magical 12 minute remix from Marvin & Guy. The project earned play and support from Tale Of Us, DJ Tennis, Roman Flügel, Adriatique, Ame, Damian Lazarus, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Gardens Of God and more; while reaching #1, #2 and #3 in Indie Dance, Electronica, Progressive House and Deep House respectively. 

As a thank you for the amazing support we're giving away one of Brian's most sought after, unreleased tracks entitled 'Welcome Them'. Long a staple of Brain's live shows; it's supernatural narrative has been a mood setter on his travels all throughout 2017, as he describes "This is the moment humans connect with intergalactic beings. A mellow fantasy of red lights, slowly pulsating while covered in fog between dark valleys. A joyful celebration for this long awaited encounter creates the backdrop for a beat that slowly swells into snare thunders and rolling bass. 'Welcome Them' is a journey that starts within our race and ends on open possibilities of a new world."

ATLANT hits 6 by heading to Milan and welcoming emerging talent Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory to the family. Masterful lead cut ‘Hold The Door’ is a simmering deep dusk trip that really draws the listener into its dark recess before giving light through beautiful rising synth lines.‘Bums Of Dharma’ follows more of a straight 4/4 dance-floor path with the addictive arp motif and compelling percussive groove given added drama by tasteful breakdowns and crisp punchy beats. Closer ‘Chaos Is A Ladder’ has Ivory stretching out as an artist to take you on an electronic journey that centres around a wise spirited voice, deep throbbing bass-line and afro-infused percussive groove.All three tracks have been tested live by ATLANT label boss BOg and have that innovative underground sound that really fits within the label’s vision and ethos.

Ivory is an italian dj, producer and guitarist born in 1984. Member of Milan based LSRBLST Crew.Ivory has releases on Offering Recordings, Chapter 24, Bee Free Recordings, Gwaisa Hedera, DEPTH and Plaisirs Sonores. His music has been supported from the likes of Raw District, Undercatt, Nandu, Rancido, Boddhi Satva, Djeff Afrozila, Lars Behrenroth and BOg.

Elusive dutch DJ and producer, nthng, announces his second album ‘Hypnotherapy’ on Lobster Theremin. Previously putting out records on his own label Transatlantic, plus the likes of Delsin, Lobster Theremin and Mörk, this thoughtful long play spans dub techno, hazy ambient and mind-bending trance, traversing through different moods.

Float away with bright and airy opener, ‘50 Flower’. Spoken word samples intercept the ambience, bringing the listener down from the clouds. A2’s ‘I Just Am’ takes the EP into dub techno dancefloor territory with bolshy, rattling percussion and assertive vocals. ‘Heitt’ is a pacy slice of machine music for the wee hours, before drifting back to softness with barely-there ‘Beautiful Love’. ‘Wave Return’ injects a dose of wigged out energy, slowly evolving from drawn out dub into an effervescent jam. ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ rolls gently - a prime slice of chunky, driving electronica. nthng’s title track, ‘Hypnotherapy’, see’s the producer return to the ambient fringes of moody techno, barely-there kicks, and shimmering pads. Rounding out the album, weightless ‘With You’ is a romantic post club track, soft, longing vocals sit upon almost bird-like sounds. Digi only bonus, ‘And Then There Was Light’ is nthng’s most ethereal offering yet.
