Music Composition for Games 
(Assignment 2)

Resurrection / Rebirth of Miraak:

I wanted to make it sound Very Demonic. I used Abm to Dm progression to create a Tritone effect Symphonic Choir From East West Chant “Miraak” and EW Voices Of The Empire vocalist Uyanga Bold to really bring Miraak back to Life from the Netherworld. Some distorted Guitar, Heavy Drums, Edgy Hard Strings and Roaring Brass was all employed to really create a sense of A primal ritual conducted by Miraaks followers.

Transition to Journey:

Miraaks rebirth is very dark and I wanted it to sound like a cut scene that abruptly ends as Miraak is born again signifying trouble. After the Hypothetical character is eased with a Angelic String Like transition Starting on Abm (Common Chord Modulation) then Cm7 (V7) of the new Key Fm of the Journey section. 

Journey:

In this section I wanted to create a Main Textured Loop that would create a feeling of a Primal Earth the very beginning almost lifeless with only the one celled life or slime and ooze but with a nice crystal-like structure on land but underwater there is signs of Whales.

Savannah Plains Strings Loop is a more evolved Loop from the A-tonal Texture this is a Searching Progression In Fm Dorian Mode: 

Rain Stick, Bells and Vocals are another reference to the Primal feel to the Journey Requirements.

Enemy Danger is a Interactive Loop that plays when there is a Enemy or Danger approaching the Player.

Battle:

We modulate to Db – Am. 

Battle Rock Section this is me playing on my Guitar. Drums are in 6/8 Bass is from East West Patch. 

Puzzle:

Is back to Fm.
