GTR03 was originally planned as a 2LP Vinyl Compilation with all the heroes, friends and family on board. But because of the enormous waiting time at pressing plants and because of the ever-rising production price we decided to release it as a digital compilation, MC cassette and on a limited USB Stick first.

For all the vinyl junkies: Don’t worry. A small batch of dubplates* with 5 tracks on each side will be available later this year with printed cover and all the goodies you know from our recent releases.

Playful with genre conventions (is it jungle?), warm pads give way to hard breaks before the introduction an effervescent vocal loop. Things get darker: a vocal sample asking to be shown the way out of ‘this trauma’, pure early '90s darkcore, before the mood is lightened again with some ravey stabs, almost teasing the listener. There’s lots going on, and yet it builds into something strangely beautiful, the various elements easing into their own spaces: dark and light, hard and soft, happy and sad all at once.

The 12" kicks off with the fast and freaky "Girl I Neva" which borders on juke levels of nagging sample chops, before the script gets crumpled up and tossed at the bin with the wonderfully scruffy rave deconstruction of "Peugeot 106 At Sunrise (Pingers Mix)". "Unconditional (Edit)" brings something a little smoother to the mix, although that underlying weirdness that comes with House Crime releases is still lurking in the wings. "Uključen Ti Je Blutut" finishes the EP off in a rowdy yet reflective style - long may the strange tale of House Crime continue."

mended myself in a lot of ways after dealing with a severe burnout in 2017. it finally feels like i'm getting to a better place these days.

'dj fuckwind' is a persona, mockingly depicting how was it like growing up tazing terrorists in syphon filter until youve set them ablaze, grinding licence tests in gran turismo 2, memorizing the hydra cheatcode in gta san andreas, collecting the first secret tape in thps 2 and then suddenly despising the current surrounding that shaped you once realizing you've all but grown up and it's all gone

the distinctive sk1 "sample ready" click at the beginning of each track is seemingly there to introduce you to an another chapter in the transitioning experience of what's familiar and forcing you try and explore what is not
