Hailing from Sisak Electro City, Yas AKA Le Chocolat Noir hosts the Disco Panonia show on Intergalactic FM, makes parties in Zagreb as one-third of bRAVE and bakes music under several monikers and collabs as LCN, Honored Matres, Florence Foster Fan Club with Zarkoff, and most recently, Fiume. 

His production - shurikens dipped in snake venom. His mix for Putnik - top-notch kinky Electro lubed for gods, and then technicolor surprise after surprise till the end.

Daniel Holt delivers an album of intricate minimal wave/post punk from his new project Human Figures. At the same time, this vinyl edition is Co-released by Frigio Records and B.F.E. Records and this being the first split release by the two labels.

Holt is no stranger at Frigio, the Tennessee artist having featured on Frigio Allstars Vol 2 and Vol 3 with his mind-melting techno and having also 12″ in L.I.E.S. Records. You may also know him
as the head of Ardetha Records as well as an impressive resume of experimental synth and ambient projects, such as synth duo Vault.
Human Figures is a completely new and personal avenue of expression for Holt. “Footsteps” is liminal, lonely and misty with negative space between each instrument. 

Each note invokes a warm hypnagogic atmosphere, tinged with fluttering anxiety. Through these eight tracks, this multifaceted musician shows another side of his art with guitars, bass-lines and drum machines. The mournful “Lifted Burden”, with its cowbells and echoing vocals swaddled in warm strings, sets the tone. Haunting notes are supported by a staccato beat as Holt´s melancholic vocals sail in “40 Days” before the bare brilliance of “An Open Heart.” A spread of influences is drawn on for Human Figures: the post-punk rawness of “For My Angel”, the synth romance of “Footsteps” the cold reductions of “Passing Beyond Body.” 

Sombre, stirring and superb. FFO of the minimal vibes of records like Solid Space "Space Museum", Dark Day "Exterminating Angel", The League Of Nations "Music For The New Depression", Lives of Angels "Elevator To Eden" ...

A total "shift" from my last release, my first dirty breakbeat type track. Experimenting with different textures in this one for sure.

Just want to express my gratitude to Agnes. The song "Familiar" is one of my favourite songs of all time. It has really helped conduit to my inner feminine and connected 
me on an emotional, somatic and spiritual level for many years. Agnes' musical works
have always been a quite visceral journey for me.
I myself being a drum and bass producer, wanted to encapsulate this feeling of 
deep sentimentality and spin it within the flow of my own creativity. My intention with
music is to create a bridge between the harder grittier aspects of certain genres 
and aggregate the softer more gentle side. Which for me means a symbiotic coalescence of masculine and feminine energies.

Hola familia, volvemos a la carga con la entrega 84 de las UEMA Series y lo hacemos sin irnos muy lejos de Albacete.
Damos la bienvenida de nuevo a Ballesteros, un Dj y productor que nos sorprendió por su criterio, clase y juventud hace ya unos cuantos años y desde entonces es casi un miembro más del Colectivo y es que Ballesteros ha participado en varios de nuestros saraos y esta es la segunda vez que participa en nuestro podcast.
Ballesteros es un investigador incansable de nuevos sonidos sin importar el estilo, sus sets pueden incluir perlas de House, Techno, EBM, Acid, Trance, IDM…en general, cualquier cosa que entre en su radar detector de calidad. Todo ello mezclado con mucha sutileza y buen criterio. Ballesteros, además, anda metido en la producción a través de dispositivos hardware y aunque no le gusta admitirlo el nivel cada vez es mayor.
Hace unos años, Ballesteros junto con sus socios, fundaron el sello NNY Records, con el que dan rienda suelta a ese torrente de conocimiento y han referenciado en vinilo multitud de artistas cercanos al Electro, House, Breaks o Dub Techno.
Para esta ocasión Ballesteros nos ha obsequiado con algo más de una hora de sonidos muy bajos en bpms, con muchos Breaks, atmósferas ensoñadoras, percus muy orgánicas y bajazos de esos que te agarran del estómago, y al estilo Ballesteros, hilando fino amig@s!
