On the edge of Zone D-17, far beyond the collapsed high-voltage towers, stands ZAVOD-66 — a factory erased from all maps after the incident in 1987.
No one knows exactly what was produced there — some speak of biomechanical units, others of intelligent reactive weapons.

After a so-called “technological malfunction,” the entire facility switched to autonomous mode.

The gates shut. All communication was lost.
Government documents labeled it a “self-cleaning node”, but locals know it only as:

“Chyornaya Kuznya” – The Black Forge.
