With recent releases with Belfast’s ‘Plain Sailing' and ‘Zone Focus’, Tyvion Valentine is back with another killer 4 track EP, as he joins the Brighton based label, Plaza.

Tyvion Valentine has quickly built himself a reputation as one of the most unique artists to come out of Dublin in recent times. With his own emotional take on the iconic sounds of UK garage and bass, Tyvion’s productions stand out from the crowd consistently.

The talented Dublin based producer Tyvion Valentine demonstrates a hugely mature and polished sound for his latest 'Essence' EP, which drops on Brighton based Plaza Records on June 18th.

Today we premiere the 4th track from the EP entitled 'Vocal Loop VIP', which is a euphoric, club-ready track, boasting a lush female vocal melody throughout, paired with a polished rolling bass-line. 

Once again Tyvion Valentine showcases his unique production style through his emotions take on modern dance music.

PREMIERE: Moodrich - Five - O [MALöR]

Rolling into summer of ’21 with a medley of Trance is Dublin-based artist Sharpson, signing Planet Love onto Zone Focus for the label’s eighth release. The four-tracker EP pays homage to the famed Irish festival, mainlining 140bpm energy with hefty drums and euphoric overtones. An ultra-modern sound resonates throughout the project, enabling a diverse listening experience in the process.

The name comes from the Northern Irish dance music festival PlanetLove, which over the years hosted the likes of Tiesto, Paul van Dyke, John Digweed and Gabriel & Dresden. The EP is a homage to the oldschool trance anthems from the likes of the Gatecrasher, In Search of Sunrise and Ministry of Sound albums. It brings those early melodic Trance influences and contextualises them into a contemporary sound.

Field Maneuvers residents LMajor and Corporeal Face - who together make up Local Group - follow up a sold out Laser Domes EP, a Secret Race 4 appearance and an XL Recordings inspired release Fresh Rhythms EP with a rave and hardcore inspired 4-tracker for mysterious imprint 1Ø PILLS MATE.

Heavily inspired by the UK sounds of garage, jungle and breakbeat, the duo's first outing on the label encapsulates everything you might hear in a Local Group set. ‘Rhythmic Trip’ is an emotional, breaksy number; meandering out of dark tones and patterns and into large vocal samples and uplifting odes to classic hardcore.

Netil Radio resident Angel D’lites Dolphins Have Sex For Pleasure release on Banoffee Pie Records last year has already gone down as something of a contemporary classic, and here she continues in typically high velocity fashion with a wicked 150bpm lovecore remix of the Local Group original.

‘Watch This Beat’ nods to the right side of happy hardcore - its chipmunk vocals, ravey piano stabs and snappy breakbeats providing plenty of gun-finger induced, rush-in-the-rave moments - before ‘Work That Thing’ closes the door with a scratch-sampled cut of electro that sounds like it was taken from the middle of a Jerome Hill set.

It was February 2021. Mortal time.
Antariksh Records had just released Radiant Energy EP by Madhav Jolly (Sentient). Over the next few mortal weeks, the interstellar airwaves were dominated by the Radiant Energy of rave and techno emerging from India, Earth. Sentient beings, spirits, and metaphysical ether - all immersed in the cosmic unity of rave. The sentient beings thus demanded seven worthy cosmic knights to unite After Midnight and recreate the sounds of rave, forged using mystical acid and jungle wizardry. Thus unleashing upon this gross materiality, the tunes of dance, the churning electro hum of the seven elements, the rave falling upon mortal ears from the heavens of electronic music. The Marbreaks Mix comes from Mumbai-based producer Marbman (aka Aalhad Joshi) who revisits the label after his acclaimed split EP on Antariksh Records with Glasgow-based music producer Kleur.

"The Production of Warehouse EP started in early 2021 after being in the second Lockdown in Germany. At this time everyone was feeling a little bit down and hopeless, including me.

I missed being on the dance floor, being at festivals and meeting friends. The feeling of being stuck and the nostalgia from past parties & gatherings compared with the fury and energy to break out of this whole pandemic situation created Warehouse EP. It's a mix of heavy energetic dancefloor tracks compared with dreamy emotional synth lines and driving appreciator baselines.

These tracks are a homage to those old times & at the same time a statement that we want these times back. Warehouse' catchy synth melody compared with the vocal sample drives the listener into a hypnotic trance, while Riot In The hood, Rush & Looprunner are three straight dancefloor thumpers. All in all, an EP for the Warehouse Raves out there!"
