A key part of New York’s club music underground, WTCHCRFT will release his next EP on Clasico, Local Action’s new sibling label curated and operated by ELEANOR.

Titled Sleepless in Brooklyn, the four-track EP sees WTCHCRFT continue to hone a distinctive take on techno — typically driven by acid basslines, minimal 808s and vocal hooks that reflect his hip-hop background — that’s seen him supported by the genre’s brightest sparks: Ellen Allien, Marie Davidson, TSHA, VTSS, Francois X, SPF DJ and Paula Temple.

A live fixture in the US and Europe, both solo and as one half of Madness Of (with regular b2b-partner KYRUH), WTCHCRFT has previously released on Balkan Vinyl, Sorry Records, Noise Manifesto and more.

Started during the pandemic and finished at the start of this year, Sleepless in Brooklyn is “dedicated to my time in Sunset Park Brooklyn, staying awake every day during the pandemic making music until 7AM."

Product Toss - Once You Pop [Vief Records]

"ISSUES REMIXES" EP offers a different take on DJ MELL G's critically acclaimed solo LP. The remix edition breathes new sounds and textures into "ISSUES", led by some of the most innovative and exciting talents in today's electronic music scene. By writing and producing music about her own experiences with BPD and featuring Manuka Honey, Sally C, Cyan85, Ben Pest and Peachlyfe along the way, DJ MELL G continues to raise awareness about the condition, challenge stigmatised views, and empower others to create meaningful dialogue around mental health.

Belfast-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ and label boss Sally C closes the remix EP on a jackin' vibe while retaining the gnarly, dark-tinted synthline of "BORDERLINE." She lightens the mood by blending a bouncy bassline with playful, bell-like percussion, resulting in a head-nodding, peak-time tune in true Sally C-style. It rounds off the release on a distinctly groovy and uplifting note.

PREMIERE: Bielefeld Murder Boys - Don't Stop (Sound Transmissions)

● Newbie is a 4-track EP of electronic music, bridging the gap between club music and experimental music, inspired by artists such as Gesaffelstein, Aphex Twin, Bored Lord or Mor Elian. The EP will be released on December 21, 2023 on Arbo Records (digital release). The challenge was not to refer to a specific style, but rather to offer the club experience. There we find dark atmospheres, cold digital sequences and aggressive white noise against a club drum machine background.

The track Club Forest is a liminal space, the artist seeking to recreate the floating mood of the club experience & the indecision between two states, which he transposes through this trancy track with a driving rhythm and acid notes, minimal percussion and a good dose of randomness.

With his live shows & DJ sets, Claude B established himself as an emerging and promising figure on the french electronic scene, starting to perform in Nantes (FR) in 2021. 

He is the founder of the collective Solstice and later Mauvaise Ambiance in Paris with his friends & colleagues formerly of TRAX Magazine, and he navigates in his productions through varied inspirations from pure techno to more experimental electronic works.

His latest EP, Spectral Matters, demonstrates an accomplishment in his recording techniques but this new EP Newbie is more intimate. Concluding the EP on a softer but equally intense note, with expressive synths, soulful melodies, plenty of percussion and white noise and a driving trance bass, Newbie reaches a state of acceptance and places both artist and listener in a fresher world where they can finally rebuild.
