Welsh producer Aloka injects a dose of gritty breakbeat on 'Digeridoo' and cites the cultural practices of native tribes as the source of his inspiration. The track is a take on people in power quashing native communities and, as a result, dissolving the connection between human beings.

Over the past 2 solo EP’S and tracks on 3 Nu Kvlture compilations, the exploration for a fast, groovy and melodic blend continues with the “ YEAR ZERO” EP. This release carries the spirit and inspiration from the 2000’s movie “The Beach”, and that’s where the name comes from. 

Cover art is a photograph Noizy made over 13 years ago and captures melancholic sunset on the playground.

My Mind

Canadian label Kudatah are set to release their most extensive project to date next Friday 2nd October with the mammoth 22-track compilation ‘Kudatah - Vol. 3’. The release has been in the works for the last 2 1/2 years and features a bunch of label staples and new faces to the series including Hood Joplin, Konx-Om-Pax, Skee Mask and Jose Fleury to name a few. 

It’s an inspiring release that covers the multi-dimensional soundscape of the label covering the realms of ambient, jungle, techno, drum & bass and beyond. On the site, we have an exclusive stream of Berlin-based prouder and Infinite Drift co-founder Mathis Ruffing’s boisterous contribution ‘G Man’.
