The next release on Terror Danjah’s Hardrive label is 'Grove EP' from producer D.O.K. Part of the legendary grime crew Aftershock - past and present members include Tinie Tempah, Bruza and Ms. Bratt – D.O.K’s new offering is a masterclass in musical murkery. The four instrumentals take a trip down Grime’s 140bpm memory lane, while reimagining the future of the genre. “I made Grove awhile back and it was getting a good response at the grime raves and on specialist radio,” D.O.K tells i-D. 'Cherry Bomb' opens with classic eskimo Korg stabs and Street Fighter-esque samples, while 'Kaboom' boasts screwface giving bass and ice cold sirens. “I made the tracks originally for Mode FM's Beat Boss 2. The tracks on 'Grove EP' took me to victory,” he grins. “Terror Danjah heard the tracks and decided that he wanted to put the out on Hardrive.” Press play on 'Grove' and get yourself grimy…
