Nothing Has Changed Besides The Freshness

Very rough play around with what is probably my favourite track from The Glow Pt. 2, not going to pretend that it's good by any stretch but it's nice to do and share something different from time to time.

The water distantly fell from the hose outside

There was some light coming out from the living room
But only radiance from the local access test screen

And I don't know like, 400 or so miles away from the 
Receiver who writes it all down
And types loudly
To fill the dead air with the idea that he's doing something
Less embarrassing this way for the both of us I guess

Who cares what they're saying
You've got your own problems
And stuff to do that you're like misunderstanding

So stop scribbling everything down like it matters 
It doesn't

Go out there and do something
Get something, whatever

The test screen is wiped off
"It's the news, at 6"
How long have I been here...?

Filton Abbey Wood - Drip, Drop

Trains are pulling in one by one
He's on a break
And he leans on the wall by the information board watching a few loud drunks stumbling in the general direction of platform 14
Then looks at his shoes and raises a cigarette to his mouth
He lights it and lifts his head up, inhales and exhales whilst squinting
The drunk and his friends laugh
He stares at them

He continues to stare without saying a word
He puts out his cigarette
And the drunk begins to approach him
Starts to raise his fists
(No need to sit and wonder why)
The drunk goes in for a punch
(No need to keep on thinking 'bout the same ol' that hopefully won't affect your life)
And there's a black screen whilst water dripping into the sink can be heard
(But I guess there's always gonna be a part of your brain that thinks it, just try to let go, and work on the future)
It then cuts to him washing his face
As the song reaches the first beat
He gets on his bike and cycles out to the city

Around about here I'd like various shots of him cycling to work along with the music
I'd like a wide-angled shot of him going straight the bottom of a street
Shot roughly from the middle of said street
(Free yourself of this obsessive loop, it's not 1990 anymore)
