Did you know that God of War: Ragnarök features a God of Music, Bear McCreary as an NPC?

Here's some more fun facts for each theme in this medley:
- Memories of Mother (Faye's theme) was the first song Bear McCreary composed and was originally a sketch of Kratos' theme.
- A Son's Path (Atreus' theme) is featured in the game while racing Angrboda through Ironwood, though she doesn't have much of her own theme.
- The Huldra Brother's theme first appears in 3/4 but later returns during the Svartalfheim theme in 7/4. My version is in 4/4 :)
- Freya's theme doesn't have a dedicated track on the album for Ragnarök, but is used heavily in Vanaheim, notably in a few stingers that lead into combat music
- The Hammer of Thor (Thor's battle music) has a hefty amount of the Kratos theme thrown in, so I combined the themes here too
5:00 It's no surprise that in Blood Upon the Snow, the wolf represents Atreus and the bear represents Kratos. Hozier got a run down of their characters and story arc so he could capture the emotion of their relationship with his singing. How did he do?

Uranus is said to be a higher octave of Mercury and, in that capacity, he catalyses the process of alchemical rebirth, which I think is best summed up by the expression: “The only way out is through.” 

Uranus arrives unexpectedly, like lightening. Then we are suddenly in labour with birth pains characterised by discord within, self-doubt, fracturing of the personality and an existential crisis as we plunge down into the Dark Night of the Soul. However, the Sun also rises. 

I’ve tried to capture some of that high frequency metamorphosis here.
