Gordo Trax returns with A Tota Virolla Vol 4, a new Various Artists compilation with more attitude than a shot of bleach and loaded with talent and originality. A diverse group of artists whose influences span different genres and subgenres weave together the most varied compilation to date, with the common denominator of a complete focus on the dance floor and a commitment to wrecking your ears, knees, and chest.

Rough basslines, abrasive synthesizers, distorted percussion, broken rhythms, sonic apocalypses, and unprecedented production mastery exude style in every track. This group of artists, including Augusto Taito, SCHRZØ, Atisbo, Finalversion3, NiZ, Hektor Legion and Lucia Gea is entirely aligned with Club Gordo, infusing the nights at the Valencia club with strength and ATotaVirollismo. Swimming in deep and seemingly calm waters has turned into a kind of extreme sport in a music scene that keeps cranking up the BPMs and toughening its vibe. That's why stumbling upon EPs like the one Madrid-based producer Blovk is dropping on Gordo Trax with this "Quiescence" feels like a bit of a luxury.

From his studio, where cables snake into his modular synthesizers like injecting venom, Blovk crafts four original tracks that showcase an artist hitting his stride. It's a journey through a analog, metallic, and textural sonic landscape.

In this "Quiescence" EP, you'll find futuristic minimalism, warm and cyclical sequences resonating in an organic space, techno landscapes, and a hunger for what's to come.

Adding to the mix, there are remixes by Viels and Fase Bipolar. The Italian artist, a regular on Warm Up Recordings, serves up a beautifully rounded, ethereal remix. Meanwhile, the Fase Bipolar duo, based on Sungate Records, injects their characteristic robotic groove into a dancefloor-oriented remix.

There are artists who seem to be touched by a magical wand, displaying a supernatural talent for music at both an artistic and technical level from a very young age, and Schrzø is undoubtedly one of them. Despite his astonishing youth, this versatile producer stands as a cornerstone in the Valencia electronic scene. Not only is he an artist, but he also serves as a teacher of production, recording, mixing, and mastering, imparting his knowledge to dozens of students each year.

Schrzø has been integral to Gordo Trax since its inception, acting as the mastering engineer of the majority of releases. Now, he finally makes his debut as an artist with an EP that impeccably defines his unique sound.

In "Ecuación del Movimiento," you'll encounter modular, robust, and detailed Techno, marked by its originality and a departure from conventional formulas. Schrzø elevates his music in a complex manner, crafting a distinctive sound that bears little resemblance to the forgettable, standard tools often heard in clubs. Each track embarks on a different adventure, steering clear of repetitions or shortcuts; it's a testament to pure talent and dedicated effort.

Alongside the five original tracks, we find the powerful remix by the Argentine Michel Lauriola, who arrives at Gordo Trax at the zenith of his career, delivering a dance floor bomb that adds another dimension to the EP.
