Peer is the cutting-edge underground techno label hailing from San Francisco, creating the modern day soundtrack for US techno. The label has showcased timeless sounds from heavyweights like Drumcell, Uun, Secus, Annika Wolfe, and many more.

Now, Jason Patrick makes his highly anticipated debut on Peer, following acclaimed releases on iconic labels such as DJ Hyperactive's 4 Track, Submerge's Impact Mechanics, Jeremy P Caulfield's Dumb Unit, From 0-1, and Mike Derer's Northern Parallels.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Xpx997" with a hypnotic and atmospheric sound. Rolling drums are met with sci-fi overtones from pulsing phasers to cloudy, humming textures that make this a high level pursuit of techno excellence.

For KHA022, label chief Balrog is back with a brand new EP featuring three original tracks and a remix from Milo Spykers.

With the Subjective Representation EP, Balrog has channelled frustrations and observations around the current political spectrum in to three blistering tracks full of distorted aggression.

With each of these tracks Balrog has sought to focus on creating consistent energy and staying true to his sound. Repetitive yet developing grooves, rolling percussive elements and, stabbing vocal lines intertwined around throbbing low ends, demonstrate clearly the signature sound and style Balrog has become known for.

Also on this EP is a sensational remix from Milo Spykers. Having recently been a part of KHAVA06, we are thrilled to welcome him back to the label.

Milo's reimagining of Subjective Representation focusses on emphasising rolling percussion and dark synthesis all wrapped around a dense powerful kick. It lends itself perfectly to the release and is sure to become a favourite among the Khazad faithful.
