PREMIERE: Acrobat - Lighthouse (Space Food Remix) [SoundFocus]

We're excited to welcome Uruguayan-based producer JonDeBruyne to the languages music family with his new progressive house track "Borealis", a stunning track that's guaranteed to get the dance floors moving! Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Northern Lights, "Borealis" captures the essence of this natural phenomenon and translates it into a beautiful experience.

Moodfreak is back with another killer remix, bringing a fresh perspective to the track and showcasing their signature Berlin progressive house style.

The MiekeJames Remix, from the sibling duo from Vancouver, Canada, brings another unique touch to the track. We're stoked to have Mieke James on board with this remix, marking their debut on languages music.

The artwork for "Borealis" was once again designed by our talented Elisa, who impresses us with her versatility and creativity time and time again. We're thrilled with the result and think it perfectly complements the track.

The "Ascension" release delves into the darker, more meditative depths of trance. The Original Mix is a crescendo-building journey, constructed around a pulsating bassline and hypnotic arpeggios that weave an immersive soundscape. Ethereal atmospheres and deftly layered rhythms guide the listener towards a cathartic peak, always maintaining a deep elegance and an inexorable flow.

Complementing it, the Heads-down Mix doubles down on the hypnotic essence. More minimalist and driven by an obsessive groove, this mix is conceived for intense, focused sessions where the rhythm becomes a mantra and the progression is a slow, powerful movement inward.

“Flyswatter 2025” is a rework of a track I wrote a quarter of a century ago and originally released under the name Arian Cerddor on Acquit Records (https://www.acq-music.ch). You can still find the original version on Bandcamp: https://acquitrecords.bandcamp.com/track/flyswatter

The title came from the snare drum, which always reminded me of a flyswatter ... simple as that! For this new version, I kept the snare as close to the original as possible while giving it a fresh, modern feel. The rest of the sounds are entirely new, since the old project file is long gone. My goal was to create something that nods to the late-90s / early-2000s era the original comes from, while still sounding current and alive in 2025.
