We are thrilled to welcome Ras Algethi back to the label with his latest 2 track 'Cirque EP'. With previous outings on ICONYC, Lost on You and Art Vibes Music to name a few, the Russian producer is no stranger to the scene with his driving melodic progressive influenced productions. We kick things off with the outstanding opening track 'Herculesus' a stunning driving melodic techno affair, that employs a deep groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown before unleashing into a rising melodic hook that climaxes into the highpoint of the track as the full force of percussive drive and harmonies combine to see out this great opener. Exciting and essential stuff! Next up Ras drops the outstanding title track 'Cirque'; that starts to delve into deeper more melodic territory, which sees lush pads fused with chord hits highlighted by Ras Algethi's trademark bass patterns, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field that find the right balance between house and techno to make it an ideal all-round weapon. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking. With pounding melodic arrangements that are so warm and driving, Ras Algethi underpins his status as a true craftsman with the excellent 'Cirque EP', which is certain to find its way into the playlists of the big-name brigade. PREMIERE: Alan Prosser - I'm Back (Dub Mix) [Pangea]

ICONYC is delighted to welcome back Rafa'EL to the label with his brand-new 'Diopside EP'. The talented Polish producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with his unique and timeless productions. 

On his return Rafa'EL leads with the outstanding 'Diopside'; a stunning driving melodic progressive house affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. Clever synth phrases complete the picture and create an ingeniously worked piece of art.

The electronica downtempo soundscapes of the accompanying title track 'A Matter of Time' round off this spectacular release. Rafa'EL's influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a smooth groove that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, accompanied by a subtle chord line that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception. Classy stuff!
