HAUMS announces second album Squaring the Circle, out April 25 on Quantum Feels

American innovator HAUMS returns with Squaring the Circle, his second full-length album, releasing April 25, 2025, on his own Quantum Feels imprint. Across eight expansive tracks, HAUMS invites listeners into a cinematic and deeply spiritual journey through melodic house—one that explores the eternal dance between the finite and infinite, the human and the divine.

Guided by a belief in the transformative power of music, HAUMS creates sound as ceremony—each track designed to awaken the body, stir the soul, and open portals of possibility. His productions are known for their emotional depth, majestic synthscapes, and hypnotic grooves, earning him 16 Beatport Top 100 placements and support from icons like Tiësto, Nora En Pure, and Vintage Culture.

The album opens with “Lost On Mars”, a soaring voyage through cosmic textures and crisp, slinky drums, before the powerful “Awake Me (Club Mix)” delivers a wave of cathartic energy through pulsing rhythms and transcendent vocals. “Resist and It Persists (Club Mix)” shifts the mood with driving percussion and darker, introspective tones, while “Power of Love” seduces with whispers and a rolling, hypnotic bassline.

“Reality”—featuring an evocative Alan Watts vocal—offers a moment of reflective stillness, as melancholic pads blur the lines between sound and silence. “Steps” then lifts the energy with luminous melodies and hopeful progressions, leading into the cinematic tension of “Into The Quantum”, a track that fuses drama and devotion through its undulating bass and ethereal atmosphere. Greek producer George X makes his Balance Music debut with a three-track EP, including one collaboration with Brazilian duo Anonimat, that doesn’t hold back on the heat. Across three tracks, he delivers a masterclass in deep, main-room dynamics—perfect for any DJ looking to elevate the energy.

'Sunday Morning' is that rare track—moody yet ablaze with power. A throbbing bassline anchors delicate, colliding sounds, their impact reminiscent of a particle accelerator. At its core, a soft, arpeggiated synth serves as the axis around which the drums pivot. In the breakdown, serene pads offer a moment of respite before a gradual build erupts into a towering drop. This is deep main room music for when it’s time to go up another level.

Losing yourself in 'Uncensored Feeling' is inevitable. A rolling George X bassline pulls you in like gravity, while exquisite guitar and piano samples lend an introspective yet almost uplifting glow. As the breakdown unfolds, minor pads cast a moody haze, while rising, synthesized keys simmer beneath the surface—gathering momentum before surging into a powerful, euphoric drop. This is deep, sophisticated music crafted for discerning dancefloors.

On ‘Telezar', Brazilian duo Anonimat joins George X for a main-room production that nods to old-school progressive sounds. Less than two minutes in, questioning pads signal the first major breakdown, swelling toward a massive, high-impact drop. Growling synths cut through the dense, driving bass, while those same questioning pads drift weightlessly above. The second breakdown introduces twinkling synths, leading into a euphoric cascade of soaring melodies and nu-school textures. A main-room powerhouse and pure dancefloor box office.

''Into The Void'' is more on the dark melodic techno side of things with its groovy bassline and minimal melodies mixed with some influences from high tech minimal. To me this track is echoing perfectly the feeling of drifting into the void when producing.
