In hindsight, sometimes our greatest fears are just our lonely shadows. Achingly honest, this song speaks out against suicide and through its ‘keep calm and carry on’ feel, celebrates a day where many adults dread remembering.

We're Finding Lost, a team of oddballs from different worlds & cultures. Met by chance, connected through a passion for music to rock out some tunes & chords across oceans, literally.

'From The Inside' is an alternative rock 'anthem' for those battling with their inner demons. 

It tells the story of a person who hears them discourage, whisper doubts and mock him in laughter. These demons have set up camp in his head again. It gets to a boiling point where he decides to fight them away. He braces himself like a boxer at pre-show, arming himself with courage and strength to find that inner peace. He fails this time and the cycle repeats. But he still doesn't give up. He knows that life is a constant battle so he brushes the dirt away, forces a smile, and goes back out to the battlefield. 

The song is a marching anthem for us all, cheering us on for the day we all thoroughly vanquish our demons inside.

From The Inside

Pretty Mess is a feel-good, self-love, anti-racism song for everyone who’s felt limited by the categories some people make you tick. And as you struggle to fit into one of their ‘boxes, you can start to feel lost. Personally, growing up as ‘that mixed girl’ in South-East Asia, I struggled to find my identity. I finally learned that instead of trying to fit myself into ‘one box’, I could love this Pretty ‘Mess’ and embrace the world as my foundation. 

This song celebrates this mixed up world and all its beautiful people, the one where you and I live in today.

Honest, daring and direct; the song unveils the ugly behind the search for that perfect body and twists it into a force to overcome self-hate. Simpler is a ‘rather’ cherry pop song sung in an innocent voice with a dangerous edge, underlining a relationship involving a partner with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Sure, the girl’s got problems but at least she’s making peace with it. Now, didn’t you say you truly love her for who she is?
