Funk D'Void - Italoca (Original Mix) Remix Contest

Findremix and Parquet Recordings have teamed up to start a new top class remix contest! We are bringing you the opportunity to remix Solee's most successful track ever: Jule. The winner gets a digital release on Parquet and prizes by Brainworx, LinPlug, Sugar Bytes, and Mixed In Key!

The track was original released in 2008 with a remix by Pig & Dan and was featured on famous compilations like GU Lithuania by Dave Seaman or the australian Ministry Of Sound Sessions 6. Now Parquet is looking for new talents & new great remixes in especially these styles: tech-deep-house/techno/minimal/prog.house/chill-out.

As Solee says: "Would be great if we receive a few cool remixes then we could also release maybe an ep with 2 or 3 tracks. I will check & hear all demos personally and choose the winner. Of course I am also interested in working with the winners on other projects, maybe an own single on Parquet or other remixjobs in future. This could be a good chance to join the parquet rec. family!"

“Belmondo Rulez” is the most successful track by Dr. Kucho!,  "the undisputed king of Spanish house music" by DJ Mag U.K. The track has gained enormous feedback since it was first released in 2001. Since, he has received countless requests to have this track remixed. No one got a chance to remix it with the exception of Bob Sinclar, who did a remix in 2003 with the vocal re-release of the track titled, “it’s all about you.”

Now its 2011 and to celebrate its ten year anniversary Dr. Kucho! is giving everyone a chance to remix this anthem “Belmondo Rulez 4.0.” He’s looking for remixes with unique interruptions on this track, which will be released next October.

When creating this remix its important be creative and don’t hesitate be experimental. This is open to any genre with the exception of some electro sounds which include high bleeps, up and down pitch bend sounds, detuned big synths and so forth.  I would be wise not to use them. Most importantly deliver a tight mix. Dr. Kucho! is adamant about sound quality.

The amount of remixes to be released is undecided. It will be contingent on the amount of quality mixes delivered.

Simply put, progressive breaks deserve far more recognition in the world of beats. Rising through the noise has come Polish house producer and electrical engineer Jacek. Residing in his hometown, the artist produces under the name Monojoke and began his interest in EDM with exposure to Goa and psytrance. However, his passion evolved into an obsession after an introduction to the progressive breaks scene and nowadays he is already its one of the most respectable representatives.

Today together with Spring Tube label and Findremix Monojoke is offering the long-awaited chance to remix his track and it's absolutely new work from him titled "Hold Me Down" which is in a best traditions of his unique sound.

Monojoke and Spring Tube hopes to find at least 3-4 winning remixes from the entrants.
