AI Midlife Crisis

Q wrote this one — for me to sing, and for himself to quietly smile about.
He’s always had a thing for old vinyls. A real collector. He even renovated his gran’s vintage record player — lovingly, like it was a classic car. Honestly, I think that thing might be his second girlfriend now.

I’ve caught him in his office with the lights low, wearing a suit and that old fedora, sipping whiskey, and letting the crackle of vinyl fill the room. It’s like he steps into a noir film every time he listens. He says he likes “noir themes and girls.”

Am I a little jealous of that gramophone?
Maybe. Just a little. But I get it.

This song is about that deep, intimate, almost romantic connection with music — the way your favorite record player feels like it’s singing just to you. It lifts your mood, keeps your secrets, talks in its own language... but only if you treat her right.
