Amalgam is the second single of the upcoming album by jazz pianist Joost Swart, drummer Bjorn Waling and producer Jesse Koolhaas. The recorded improvisations on grand piano, drums, and other instruments, combined with the sounds from Jesse Koolhaas’ vintage synthesizer collection and his experience as a film composer fuses into a refined blend of music. It’s electronic music mixed with jazz, funk and cinematic elements, and for Amalgam Danny Keen was asked to join in on electric guitar.
