Asscast #3: RCP90 -- "the time has come"

Finesse Trax continues its freudian crusade against dance music. McGriff, occasional Finesse Trax visual wizard*, turns his creative rocket launcher loaded with LSD towards the audio medium. In the eigth Asscast, he has spliced us up a soundscape of weird ambient, jazz, soundscapes, audio clips, and mood music (whatever the fuck that means) from the late 20th century. 

Expect angelic choruses generated by microchips, prescient declarations about the outlook on computers and the internet in 1993, and appropriated world music tropes .... all bathed in that VHS haze.

Asscast #8: McGriff -- "Recovery Drive"

This edition of Orlando's budget-ass mix series comes from true Orlando original El Nalgón.  After a couple of years seeing this man meld vinyl records together in local record stores and house parties, and release a tape of fucked up hazy one-take hardware house jams on @jeete, we were stoked and honored that he was down to mix us up some hot & oily dance discs.

Writing is hard, but thankfully so are these tunes so we don't have to say too much. Tap in for a brisk selection of dance tunes that range from hazy to jacking to soulful to rolling to weird. Damn!

The Nalg' is basically a ghost in terms of social media, which is atypical and really sick. But thankfully he has a soundcloud where you can find his house creations and mixes for dancing and contemplation:
