After first being introduced to housemusic back in 2007. Sara has been on a house journey, finding the sub genres within the wide range of housemusic and experiments with a wide range of house/deep house/tech house and techno. Halloween 2014 her good friends who are well respected DJs in Iceland put her to the test and taught her the basic what is to know about mixing tracks and she then relized that she had found her passion that needed to nourish. It was though first a little over a year ago she started getting her hands on dj equipment on a more regular basis and has been playing around clubs in Reykjavik, Iceland with local DJs, who are her good friends. She enjoys a pleased dancing crowd at the clubs, she enjoys the most being in her safezone, the livingroom at home, mixing an oceanwide selection of tracks. This is only the early start of Sara's journey as a DJ.

Italian producer @Moplen is hugely revered in the scene for both the quality of his work and his exquisite taste in tracks to work with.

A self confessed vinyl junkie Moplen has released on the finest labels around including GAMM, BBE, Lumberjacks In Hell and seminal house music labels including Henry Street Music and Soulfuric. He has also released with iconic disco label Salsoul.

His remixes are very distinctive; there is most certainly an identifiable Moplen sound.

Moplen’s latest release sees him drop a superb track ‘Ain’t no dub about it’ via @samosarecords fantastic Funk Purpose EP.

As one of our long-time favourite producers we thought this was the perfect time to speak to Moplen about his impressive career.

Natasha (Kitty Katt) has been lighting up dance floors across the globe with her eclectic brand of underground Disco. Now she has teamed up with Duo-Tone Productions, injecting their latest release ft. Sense of Sound Singers with a new House energy.

Natasha has attracted a lot of attention, releasing songs with Tropical Disco Records and Midnight Riot Records. She have also been picked up by the renowned Defected Records Glitterbox with whom she has played shows across the world.

Duo-Tone Productions have reunited with Sense of Sound Singers to deliver the choir’s first original single ‘Time and Time Again’. After establishing club nights in Liverpool, Duo-Tone then went on to strengthen the brand with an eclectic mix of consecutive House, Electronic and Nu-Disco releases. Recent singles came from the likes of KOVA (which hit the Upfront Club Charts Top 10) and Josh Hunter (which has received extensive support from Radio 1 and KISS FM). They have now expanded beyond their label/event format to present their own tracks, collaborating with the best new talent, under the name of Duo-Tone Productions. 

Sense of Sound Singers previously collaborated with Duo-Tone Productions to reinvent the Aly-Us classic ‘Follow Me’. The track was later remixed by Swedish beat-master OPOLOPO, landing a Top 10 position in the UK Music Week Club Charts and earning a place on the ‘Take Me To Church’ compilation from Midnight Riot Records. This time however, they have been allowed to fully express their creativity and help concoct this fully original track flavoured with Disco rhythms.
