Spin City were over-the-moon 🌙 to welcome a true legend of the scene, Dicky Trisco to the show this past Sunday. Between these 2 selectors, you can expect a delicious cocktail of Brazilian treats, disco beats, & exclusives from the don of Disco Deviance! 

About Dicky Trisco:
Dicky Trisco is a DJ who lives & breathes what he does. His passion for music and desire for good times is well known, & is based on years chasing that sound and that feeling around the globe. For him music is all about people and one thing Dicky loves is people. He is particularly addicted to the way music connects people & makes for better days.

After initial experiments in the Deep House scene of the late 1990s & early 2000s, Dicky really broke through in the Nu Disco & Disco Revival years from around 2004. In particular, his run of releases alongside his production partner & fellow DJ Pete Herbert on Disco Deviance and Maxi Discs led to him becoming an increasingly in demand DJ with a busy international touring schedule.

Since those early days, Dicky has toured the globe, sharing the music & the sound he loves. He has also become a regular at a long list of high profile festivals including #Glastonbury, Electric Elephant, Mareh, Love International, Festival No 6 & more.
But it’s not all been about Disco. 

Dicky also ran & curated the well-respected Home Taping Is Killing Music imprint for many years putting out a run of amazing House music releases. Home Taping broke a number of great artists who have gone on to become household names including The Black Madonna, The Revenge, Nicholas, Borrowed Identity, Eddie C,  Medlar &others.

Dicky continues to discover, produce & remix music for quality imprints including Home Taping Razor-N-Tape File Under Disco, Barefoot Beats & more.

Exploring disco, synthpop, boogie and house, Limpodisco describe themselves as 'that little bridge to that marvelous fairy-tale world, full of palm trees and boogie-vibrations, where girls dance in palm skirts and jungle animals cheerfully rollick and loudly din.'

This year in Berlin they've played at Aeden’s Toy Tonics party, Horse Meat Disco at Prince Charles, and KitKat and Goldkuss.

Absolutely this match is with one of the champions of the Disco.
Beppe Loda, percussionist, composer, and italian electronic dj and producer, began his experience as Dj in late 1973 at Kinky Club in Manerbio. It stands out immediately for its unusual style, playing rock songs inserted in a funky-disco musical context. In the late '70s confirming his unique style began to approach the African music, space disco, electronic dance and new wave. At the end of the 1980s he began the collaboration with the Typhoon Club (a custom-built venue for Beppe Loda following all his indications), a collaboration which gave rise to many musical trends in the years that followed and influenced the entire Italian alternative music scene today. also abroad.
