Naples boy Noil Rago has been around for a while flexing his nu-disco muscles on imprints such as Electric Friends and Sound Exhibitions. He now turns his head to Fingerman's Hot Digits Music label for a stunning 3 track EP "Unusual Disco". Kicking off with "Sambao" a slow sexy slice of latin disco magic for the early beach bar vibes. Things heat up with "Not By Change" a bumping funk-filled mid-tempo stomper with hip-hop vocal slices and finishing things "Stop" takes us down deep vocoder Vox territory with sharp electro-disco flourishes. Label honcho Fingerman teams up with Belabouche for their take on "Sambao" keeping the slow tempo but adding some house fuelled urgency to the proceedings.
