 WEEK 20 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions , its the mighty Doc75.  That’s Pajo Do to his mates A wee Derry whippet with a bag full of bangers and a cheeky grin big enough to light up the Bogside. outstanding in his field he is Known for his top-shelf hosting duties with the award winning Spin City radio show (always cracking guests and pals dropping in for the flights of fancy. He’s a regular round the Derry haunts with many years he knows the score and the scene shouts to the the Derry Collective Crew keeping him on his toes he got the right ideas for a session — and tonight, he’s bringing that same calibre of sound to us: 2 hours too pluck the Hairy Banjo Strings, and drop the kind of tunes that’ll have ye shakin’ hips and Swinging Yer Pants like nobody’s business. between gig and live sets is where the real magic sparks: digs with attitude, old energy blended with new, throwbacks that’ll school ye, and promos fresh out the box. Sometimes YouTube cuts him off mid-flow, but does he panic? Not a chance. He just Catches Himself On, refreshes, and lepps straight back in curveball, rabbit hole, and a detour or two that’s the Doc way. Lads got pedigree and stamina (awake till the cows come home) No Fret we will be sure to drag him off the decks after 2 hours on the trot.. cant be all have a walk home in shame, Sure yiz wouldn't be long Gittn froshtbite,

Ep20 - Doc75 - Disco Waltons Mix Sessions. (21st Sept 2025)

While Iner's Dobro label has released a number of full-length projects, the majority have been compilations. This, then - a debut LP from Russian producer Stogov, known primarily for blending deep house and jazz in different ways - is a significant release for DOBRO. It's also rather good. Stogov begins by peppering a thickset deep house groove with attractive female vocalisations and fluid jazz guitars ('Imagine'), before opting for loose-limbed jazz breaks, bouncy house beats and Todd Edwards style sample cut-ups on 'Smooth Turn'. Deeper, drowsier and more garage-house leaning vibes are the order of the day on 'Everybody', 'Y're Free' is a classic-sounding slab of thickset US deep house headiness, 'Comeback' is woozy, skippy and delightful, and closing cut 'Shine' sounds like a tooled-up take on 'Boulevard'-era St Germain.

It’s WEEK 22 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions – and this week we’ve only gone and landed the bezzer himself Fingerman (aka Gregg Holmes)!
Hailing from Portsmouth, via Brighton and now firmly holding court in Belfast, Gregg’s a certified disco don. He’s the daddy behind Hot Digits Music (and vinyl offshoot Wax Digits) — a label responsible for more dancefloor weapons than your local dodgy Firestick dealer. Since the early days, he’s been chopping, looping, and reworking tunes with that signature touch — and his edits have been championed by the best in the biz.
Gregg’s a hardworking, top-shelf editor, producer, label boss, radio host, and all-round top geezer. Two hours is nowhere near enough — but it’s just the right amount of time for Fingerman to take us on a proper journey. Expect chunky mid-tempo rollers, slick reworks, nu-disco stompers, and groove-heavy edits that sneak up on you — BOOM — those classic tones that give you that nostalgic tickle right up the nostrils.

Mind Fonk (Preview) (Walking Disco Records 2019)

'Brookyln-based producer Reed Kackley has been hard at work ravishing the electronic music stratosphere under his moniker BAILE. Staying true to his signature sound, he returns to House of Youth with 'KWT' featuring K. Marie Kim on vocals.

“I had initially envisioned 'KWT' as an instrumental, but upon finishing it up I decided to pepper in some vocals samples I had lying around from an unreleased track with Marie Kim. It still felt incomplete, so I asked Marie if she wanted to record something new over the instrumental. At that point the track finally had the arc I was searching for and felt fully realized.”

BAILE blends trip hop with lounge once again in this release, and the effect is as warm and fleeting as a dream There's a lot to be discovered here, with rich sounds and textures buried in layers within the production. Marie Kim overlays the track with a lamenting vocal about a relationship about to fade out.

“The words outline someone letting go of a friendship or relationship that has grown apart over some time. There isn't one party or incident to blame but perhaps compounding resentment. So we go alone - we want to feel perfectly good alone, but most of us don’t.” '
