Welcome along. Christmas cracker incoming! The Atmospheric Existence radio show on 1BTN Radio was conceived to run alongside the record label Atmospheric Existence Recordings (AER) and has been a monthly home for us to create live audio documents that can be revisited and enjoyed time and again. 

So far we've been flying solo each month, but with over a years worth of shows, it's time to broaden the audio spectrum!
We will be inviting guests each month alongside your host, who we admire and respect, whose contribution, sound & skillsets for us, showcase the very best in modern contemporary electronic music.

Here's the upload of the last AER radio show on 1BTN Radio on Tue 19th December, 18:00-20:00hrs (GMT). This festive edition featured a special guest, no other than that House man Jimmy Clanfield.

Jimmy Clanfield comes from the outskirts of Portsmouth on the UK South Coast, lived in London from the millennium and has now settled south of Bristol. His musical background is in studio based production, recording and mixing, live sound and DJing. He also teaches music and digital arts and has set up a range of community studios over the last 20 years in youth centres around London and has built a home studio after many years of acquiring equipment where he works on his own projects with singers and other musicians. James has a long-standing love for house music and has releases and remixes out on Merecumbe Recordings, Soulful Horizons Music, Wallshaker Music, Blu Lace Music, Sneja Recordings, For Those That Knoe, Sprungcartellwachs and Dogmatik Records, additionally his mix engineering has featured on releases for Rebirth and Defected. He co-hosted The Descendance Mixshow with Alison Marks for DHP Radio and is half of Mixed Message Music with DaMs for Drums Radio.

The Venezuelan born, Bogotá based selector and producer Enrique Leon aka Leeon pays homage to what the words "Deep House" mean to him with an excellent funky and vibey hour and half for us this month.
Over the last while Leeon has been making moves having appeared on the acclaimed Beats In Space alongside Tim Sweeney as well as dropping mixes on The Bunker NYC not forgetting spinning a lengthy one in Berlin's famous clubbing institution Berghain.

Not many have covered the ground like London's Richard Sen has. Starting his deep dive into the underground scene by being the much recognised Sen graffiti writer he has moved on over the years to be considered one of the UK's great selectors and DJ's. Having also released music under several guises, not only under his own name (which he also has wealth of huge remixes for artists like Bryan Ferry, John Grant, Unloved and LCD Soundsystem), but most notably under the phenomenal Padded Cell and the excellent Bronx Dogs. With his excellent weekly radio show on Charlie Bones' Do!! You!!! Radio station as well as dropping the award winning Dream The Dream (UK Techno, Breakbeat And House 1990-1994) compilation on Ransom Note, Sen finds himself with an even larger wealth of fans. With that being said we are delighted to welcome Richard Sen to the Off The Record mix series where he provides us with a 3+ hour journey taking us on a deep dive into his record selection providing styles of all kinda throughout.
