I have the pleasure of presenting this amazing EP by this great producer SLCTVTONES with an outstanding melodic quality, giving us 2 jewels full of color and infinite textures.
Starting with the title track of the release "Yemaya" we will be introduced into our minds with that piano and those chords, while some trumpets caress our soul.
The other work is called "Bring Me Back To Life" and it is one of those harmonies that run down your spine when you hear the chord and rhythm changes instantly, a melodic delight full of feeling and leads running through your entire body.

Yemaya (Original mix)

Lesson 1 is already the third single of L’Equipe du Son’s forthcoming debut album ‘Supersonic’. After the success of ‘Love Will Find A Way’ LEDS come with an educational piece, ‘Lesson 1 (French for romantic purposes)’. 

The original version is a mixture between disco-mood sounds and breathy pop, deeply influenced by the synthesizer sounds of the 70s and 80s.

The first remix comes from The Legendary 1979 Orchestra and with carefully crafted swirling bells and warm synthlines the TL1979O remix has actually continued in the style of the original.

Hailing from Melbourne’s Inner-West it’s Silhouette Music regular Yasumo providing an entirely new approach. A perfect blend of guitars and, well, pure funk!

Rayko has an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt and has an almost insatiable thirst for editing both classics and lost gems in his distinctive and infectious style. This remix is only a confirmation of this, noticeable from the moment you hear the first bass key, it’s disco baby!

Amsterdam dwelling editor par excellence Em Vee took the solo reigns on the inaugural Lumberjacks In Hell - and truly excelled with a great reimagination of "Miss You". The second release on the label sees the German share duties with Spanish edit demon Rayko, with the Rare Wiri boss hogging the A Side. First up is an expert rearrangement of Candi Staton's cover of the Bee Gee's standard "Nights On Broadway" which strips the track of its orchestral leanings to focus on the groove! Following this is a meaty take on a classic, with Barbara Keith's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" reinforced with some bottom end bump. Em Vee spreads a special disco version of Alma Lee's late 70s Philly delight "Gimme Your Love" with an extended intro that fully displays his edit talents.
