I decided to rename this piece to, "Overture For An Ogallalan," because the name "Ogallala" means "to scatter," or "to scatter one's own." Since this is a scattering of musical ideas, it seems appropriate.

This is an updated arrangement of a piece I wrote with a scene in mind of a woman randomly walking through some kind of darkly lit antique shoppe or room; dusty trinkets, curio cabinets, old plastic dolls with eyes that blink sometimes; dishes stacked on edge above doorways, many clocks on walls ticking at different tempi, lace curtains here and there, in a state of distorted reverie while very real danger looms close by.
