Our journey with Shuray & Walle began with a casual brunch date on Saturday morning. Their only instruction was, "Bring records, guys." As we stepped into their flat, everything suddenly made sense. We instantly lost ourselves in the music together, feeling like we had known each other for years, even though we had never met before. We spent the entire day and night talking, playing records, and vibing, completely forgetting about the planned brunch. Since then, we can look back on countless sessions like this.

So, the 10th episode of the Lotion series is truly something special for us. After being underground selectas for 10+ years, Shuray & Walle have become a cornerstone of Leipzig's house scene. It's a vibe, a feeling you get from their selection of deep, yet minimalist house music. Their driving groove, combined with warmth, soul, and a big, honest smile, just pushes the right buttons – every time! Whether you already know the deal or are just discovering them, now is the time to dive in and enjoy!

During the early morning hours at Feel Festival we drifted onto the Wagenburg floor and encountered an emerging artist behind the decks, delivering a captivating vinyl-only set. With a refined sense for atmosphere, he lifted our vibe and carried us into a smooth, tribalish flow.

Afterwards we got in touch and learned that this was actually one of his very first vinyl sets. For that reason we asked him for the recording of the sets and here it is !

Luca Venezia, aka Curses, has always worn his passion for early underground club music on his sleeve. With the Tutto Vetro project, he taps into the late '80s and early '90s sounds of Valencia, Frankfurt, and NYC.

A moment when trance, post-EBM, and Detroit techno merged to create something raw, emotional, and futuristic.

The new EP, Trust The Beat, is a love letter to that fleeting but powerful sound. When artists like Umo Detic, Robotiko Rejekto, and New Scene were blurring lines between Electro, Progressive, and EBM, and the influence of Detroit and New York was having a heavy influence on the German underground. Before genres split and made their title, there was a little magic, and Venezia captures that essence throughout this record, pushing it forward for a new generation.

Wrong Era co-captain Fabrizio Mammarella delivers a relentless, no-holds-barred remix of ""Wild Things,"" reminding us why he’s a master of the sound.

With just one previous release under the Tutto Vetro alias on Spain’s Megebreakz (Oráculo), this marks a return to familiar territory for Venezia.

Venezia's 2015 So Strange EP helped shape the Curses sound and cemented a lasting bond with the Slow Motion / Wrong Era family.
