This mix is dedicated 512 - FINRG 5th anniversary event, Five Years of Finnish Freeform. 

The biggest hard dance event of year took place in Helsinki 5th December 2008 on the eve of Finland Independence Day. It was truly outrageous spirit of happening after performing ending slot in the event with JNKS and J7. It was an honour to share the stage with you and to be a part of something so special. It was definitely one of the highlights of my career. I would like to thank artists and all those people who were at the event, especially all those foreign ravers who travelled across Europe just for this event. I tried to capture the good vibes and the amazing atmosphere of the event in my mix. There are massive selection of upcoming Hybridize releases included, I am really proud to represent these new producers and pushing their music forward.

Story continues with this Kosmos Festival FINRG teaser mix part two. 
This is a story about Spanish Greyhounds which has been rescued from Spain.

The breed is still used in hunting in Spain. There are serious animal rights issues in keeping the Spanish Greyhounds, because at the end of the hunting season most dogs are abandoned or killed, often in cruel ways like hanging. Poorly hunted dogs are hanged down to the old way, so that death is slower. Dogs are burned alive, drowned and beaten. According to the figures, tens of thousands of galgas are killed and rejected every year in Spain.

There are several Galgans adopted in Spain that are not listed in the Kennel Club. Several volunteer and donation associations are working to improve the situation in Galgas in Spain, both locally and by looking for adoption homes for galgots. In addition to Finland, Galgo is adopted in several European countries and in the United States.

According to the Kosmos theme I thought to name the mix, not as a Cosmonaut, but: Galgonaut. :)

I also thought that I could put a little story and people could donate: Old dog toys, dog food or a few cents to Autetaan eläimiä RY.
