The road into the deep sky takes a turn into the deep sea as the security system is overridden and the massive underwater hatch slides apart. The HALCYON solo-mission strike bomber warily infiltrates the seabed anchoring facility of the abandoned space elevator, a vast complex where automated refineries continue to process and synthesize material to replenish the nanotubule fibers of the ground-to-space tether's structure.

The hardened facility was the literal root of the burgeoning space-based economy in the Old Era, and its location in neutral waters did nothing to dissuade political and military conflict. Antique defense systems reactivate in response to the HALCYON's foreign presence and attempt to shoot it down; the single-minded AIs "creatively" employing the gigantic materials-transfer crane arms in order to fulfill their last-ditch Absolute Defense directives.

Hello, I'm Kermakastikeritari, or Kermis for short. I am a hobbyist musician from Finland, mainly making music for fun and my own enjoyment.

Firage is a "fictional video game music" project that I founded in 2005. Firage doesn't really have a set genre, but I'm highly influenced by other video game musicians, rock/metal music and various kinds of electronic music.

I'm more interested in composing, arranging and mixing music on a computer rather than actually playing physical instruments, but I'm capable of performing some simple stuff on keyboard and guitar.

I mainly use OpenMPT, FamiTracker, FL Studio and Audacity to create my music.

Most of my music is released under the Creative Commons Attribution license, so feel free to use my music either as it is or by expanding on it. And if you do, please send me a link to your game/video/remix/other creation, I'm curious.
